when the old song comes

31 Jul

I listen to music not too often- I have fixations with certain songs I listened to a long time ago and when I do hear them again, this happens…

i was looking for you

tapping feet lilting heads  lifting smiles

turning shadows into sunbeams

opening windows and doors in heads

to oh! the view the Vertigo

 sweet downpour, to

childhood inching its way back

and the wind.

so weird, was driving back from teaching a seniors fitness class yesterday afternoon, clicked on the radio, and found myself singing along to “why must i be a teenager in love” 😉

    “turning shadows into sunbeams

opening windows and doors in heads”

My own childhood has been seeping back in with our recent summer rains, as well.
